changes
A: Symptoms
Technology,
politics and economy
These three typical factors of the present time have taken the total
commando over all type of human activity on the Earth, imposing a terror and
consternation climate to the humblest and defenceless from the existing
civilization.
Measures and determinations in all scope of things, mean an enormous
deterioration of the conditions of life of a great majority, an unemployment
that only increases, problems of health, delinquency, war and armed conflicts
of all type and much more.
Nature
The whole planet is feeling the weight to the brutal treatment that the
human being has conferred to it during a long time. And now it is reacting with
violence, in the form of climatic changes, volcanic activity, floods, storms,
tornadoes, and an enormous amount of other phenomena that are not so easy to
appreciate, but that in their totality signify considerable alterations in
the ecological system of the planet.
The return of
the people of Israel
The return of Israel’s people to its old territories is one of the
signals most characteristic of this time. This people are associated
immediately with religion and therefore with God, and this fact has a great
importance for the rest of the national groups of the entire world. They have
also own historical experiences, traditions and doctrines, in this order of
things.
B: Background
It is difficult to find a common denominator to these three points that
we have summarised like specific symptoms that characterise the present state
of the world, although to tell the truth, one certain good exists. The three
are indicating the term of an era and the approach or coming of a new time
that brings with itself radical transformations in all order of things.
We have arrived to the point when it is extremely difficult to predict
what imply all these changes or transformations. Therefore we are in the need
to do a completely overhaul of all the history of the humanity, to find the
indication that can help us to anticipate what will be to come in the next
future.
All the pass century has characterised by eagerness latent to arrive to
identify, who are those that really maintains the truth, who is the
responsibility of so many necessities in different planes. And in addition,
whom is the guilty of so much human suffering and who are those that at heart
are caused so much evil.
Finally, we have reached the result that nobody recognises its own
errors, nobody recognise to be responsible for some of the ballast that press
the humanity and everybody trusts that their points of view are most correct
or the most adapted.
And there we are, face to face ready to defend until the last
consequences, which everyone considers appropriate.
Via this essay we want to clarify, almost like a last attempt to find a
real solution, that nobody at heart is right and that the responsibility it
is of all. Because all the humanity suffers the same affection or
indisposition originated by two very well determined factors, the inheritance
and the circumstances of life.
These two aspects control, first of all, the mental activity of the
human being. The most remarkable resource that characterise the human being,
namely, the capacity to think, is what we never have been able to dominate in
total form. And instead of being an aid for us, has turned out to be an
enormous burden in the personal and collective plane and throughout all the
history of the humanity.
If we do not accept this fact, we are being deceived ourselves and by
our own will.
None limits for the thinking activity exists, that is something we have
verified it very well during thousands of years of practice in this sense. No
rules, norms or some type of established order exist to make use of this so
special human resource. No type of laws, and no one clear exhibition on the
part of the average scientists on the surprising ways to react of the human
mind.
Does not exist something special that by its own means, can influence
the order that our thoughts follow, since for this task is required of
something moreover than our own present personal experiences to do effective.
We have the absolute necessity to refer or to relate us to some "human
historical prototype" with which to compare us and from there,
evaluate our attitudes and our way to think.
This responsibility was conferred it at first to ours first ancestors,
who failed with this mission. When and how really this chapter of the human
history occurred, it is still reason for investigation on the part of many
scientists.
We have counted with an innumerable amount of individuals, national
peoples, groups and civilisations that have taken for themselves this
function, and have even influenced powerfully on the whole humanity until
this day, by the hereditary channel and by means of its facts and legacies in
different scope of things.
However, we have not yet identified with exactitude to this "prototype"
with the aid of our thoughts, nor have observed either the real historical
fact that this "human prototype" has been presents already
in the human history, although until the moment very few have realised it.
This is extremely important since for many the search still continues
and still we are in the waiting for the coming of the one that will save the
humanity of the chaos that governs us from our own personal interior.
We have recognised in this writing the fact that this human prototype
is nothing else or nothing less than the historical human being Jesus from
Nazareth, the "Son of man".
We could indicate at least 100 different reasons for which we consider
to this person the suitable human being that all we need to compare ourselves
and to be able to draw an appropriate conclusion about our own personal
reality. But our thoughts are going to find without greater difficulty 100
excuses to not accept them, since the pedestal that we have erected to the
"logic" is so high, that now it is in practice impossible to
throw it down or to locate another totally different thing in its top.
For that reason, this human prototype paid with his life the attempt to
make a rectification to this great misunderstanding that we have had during
all the history of the humankind. Not even his more intimate friends
"understood" his teaching, although in the end they accepted it,
affected before as so much wisdom and power in his words and facts.
Perhaps the disciples of Jesus did not understand him in total clarity.
But they "felt" that this man from Nazareth "could in
reality be" the one that would be come to teach us how we must truly act
to be able to reach the status that from the beginning is reserved to the
human being.
This happened two thousand years ago, more or less. It is a real and
effective historical fact, because all the accounting of our present time is
based on this fact.
We have explained, in agreement with the gospel of the apostle John,
why it is this man from Nazareth who must be considered our "human
prototype". Perhaps it is not necessary to return to analyse the details
that concern the base of this affirmation, that by the others we are not
first in doing it.
The fundamental base to identify the Nazarene like "the human
Prototype", rest in the fact that in him is fulfilled everything what
the human being is enabled to be and to do.
He is simultaneously first in a series of elementary aspects and
perhaps most important of everything it is that his gospel, message or
teaching, remains unyielding and irrefutable with the passing of the years
and it only tends to be every day that pass away, more actual.
In the life and acts of this man, we find a fact in specific that
identifies him and distinguishes him in comparison to all the others that
lived before him. But that also provides him the necessary power to be able
to help all the human beings who have existed after him.
This fact is the baptism that he experienced in the power of the
Holy Spirit in the Jordan River in the days of John the Baptist.
It was this fact that permitted him to state and to verify that without
the intimate contact with the source of the Life and its executive average,
the Spirit, we do not have any possibility of ordering our thinking capacity
to leads us to the eternal life.
Thus, it is in vain to continue with our experiments, theoretical and
practical, with the eagerness to get to consolidate a peaceful and
satisfactory coexistence between us and with the entire creation without the
participation of the Spirit in our projects.
The Baptist John by means of his ritual or his words was not the one
that granted the Spirit to Jesus, but God Himself who is the Father of the
spirits.
It was this matter or element, the Spirit, the one that came to us to
teach and to reveal to us that each human being can count in his benefit to
be liberated of all his insufficiencies and difficulties.
The thing we want to make clear it is the fact that our human nature is
not something insignificant, but on the contrary. It is so complicated, that
we cannot understand it to fullness, since many of its functions are totally
independent of ours will or intentions, but to what the own human nature is
in the necessity, in conformity with the practical life.
The human nature looks for its equivalent one, its
"prototype", and its authentic original model. But generally it is
our thinking - or rather, our ideas - those that try to delay this search
with an enormous amount of pretexts, or to turn aside the attention with the
help of all type of fantasies.
Our search is authentic and legitimate, although what really our human
nature looks for it is something that our mind does not have the smaller
"idea". Our thinking capacity is only limited to suppose or
to deduce.
In these terms we must consider all the human history. That is to say,
like a constant sequence of suppositions that has motivated to us to prove or
to experiment everything, with the help of the most absurd and improbable
methods.
If we examine with a little attention the total activity that in our
days it is in progress in the scientific level, is possible to appreciate
with greater clarity what we try to explain.
Milliards of dollars are financing right now diverse projects that have
the intention to establish contact with other intelligent living beings that
"it supposes" must exist in some place of the universe.
These attempts have been coming working for already almost half
century, although at the end of accounts it has not been arrived at any
conclusion that justifies this so expansive investment and so special
supposition.
Millions of human beings have died due the insufficiency of food during
the same period of time.
What are looking the scientist in reality?
A gigantic activity continues in total march with the eagerness to investigate
the very small particles that can exist, on the one hand, and the
"secrets" of the universe, by the other. All this with the
objective to arrive "to understand" in his more minimum details
which our theories and thoughts suggest to us.
Finally, we want of a rational way, to get to state what it is not
psychic, but of a composition that is much more complex.
The incompatibility or contradiction is so great; that practically we
have arrived at a certain point where the consequences of all the experimentation,
we have already begun to feel and to perceive in many ways.
What we mean, in the name of the truth, it is the following.
It was not so difficult to get to state the tremendous amount of energy existing inside the smallest particles of the matter. What it is really impossible, it is to be able to avoid the catastrophic consequences that this manipulation of the matter has caused and it is causing to the fundamental ecological coherence of the planet.
What our scientists have not got to realise still, it is the fact that
the same power or energy comprises of our own human reality and that is from
ourselves of where we must learn to know the real and objective life.
All this that we are commenting is only one small fraction of all the
absurd and foolish that our more "intelligent" resemblances are
dedicated to do. We can say that in spite of all the reactions of the nature,
they continue doing it and with an enthusiasm that does not demonstrate the
smaller signal of remorse of conscience.
We repeat and left in clear that, we are not indicating that the
responsibility of which we are analysing here it is of determined national group,
political, religious, social, scientific, and much less of some person or
individual in special.
Our conclusions concern to the human being in general and like a
specific type of living creature.
With this we mean that this problematic is something that concerns the
entire humanity and in this point does not exist some demarcation that can
divides us. This means, at the same time, that this essay tries in no way to
be the representative opinion of some group or organisation in specific. In
regard to it, we count on all the freedom possible to make real comparisons
of all type and in all order of things.
By that reason, it is that now we will make a fast examination to the
opinions of an international movement that does not count on a representative
organisation. But, in spite of all, it is considered as one of the modern
currents of greater influence in different scientific spheres, although first
of all, in the interpretation of the times and in special, the coming of the
new century and of a new era.
This movement is known internationally with the name "New
Age". In the following citation are summarised different aspects related
to the mental activity of the human being.

Chapter III.
Changes in
the conscience and the brain
Inner waking
up
"The experiences of expansion and
transformation of the conscience are something common in our time. It treats
of perceptions of certain states that are called "Transcendental"
and "transpersonal". They include perceptions of light, love,
solidarity, to wake up, energy, eternity. For the "children of
Aquarius" they are these, signals that are demonstrating that the human
being has entered a new phase of his development, thanks to the liberation of
a comparable potential to the development that a language means.
These new states are not only subjective;
but that can be measured by means of observations like physical changes in
the brain.
The process of individual transformation
began with the putting of attention to the direction that took the same
concentration in something in specific, began with to be conscientious of its
own conscience. Everything what could contribute to a better and more
conscientious state had therefore a capacity or potential to produce and to
activate transformations.
The co-ordination of both cerebral
hemispheres
The flexibility of the brain is surprising,
consider the supporters of this movement. But we never will be able to
understand how great is this until we use it in its totality. Since we count
on the real capacity to sharpen our concentration and our senses, almost
equally as the gymnast does when she trains his muscles. And this must to the
fact that each part of the cerebral hemispheres can react in independent form
and this way they can establish two different centres of conscience. In
people who suffer of serious epilepsy, the communication between both
hemispheres has been cut sometimes to diminish the epileptics' attacks of one
of the hemispheres. This has given like result that the patients have been able to work,
of such form that the left hand of them, literally saying, does not know what
the right hand has done.
In concern to the assimilation of knowledge
the right hemisphere has approximately the use that is giving to the heart,
that is to say, it has to its disposition the instincts, the fantasy, the
dreams, and the conceptions related to the impressions that is had in general
or total terms. The left hemisphere more is related to the functions of the
reason: control of the language, mathematical operations, and organisation.
It is this hemisphere that dominates in the people of the western
civilisation.
But methods for "retaking the
relations" between both hemispheres exist, in such a way that they are
possible to be helped mutually. Such methods are, for example, the known
meditation, exorcisms, poetry and Hindu songs like mantras. These
co-ordinates both cerebral hemispheres of such form that the amount of
nervous cells that participate in these activities multiplies.
The synchronisation of both hemispheres,
that is to say, the one of the rational functions and the instincts, with the
one of the intellect and the feelings, also leads to something new.
As the supporters of this movement see it,
is this synchronisation: "the central mystery of each religion".
And spiritual waking up with its origin in India is particularly apt to offer
to the western civilisation a possibility for "correcting and healing
the opposite pole". The people of the West who feel attracted by the
Eastern religions not do it particularly towards certain type of books,
Buddha or Lao-tze, but towards the meditation like method to synchronise the
thought intuitive with the logical one.

CARA A CARA -- FRENTE A FRENTE
( Encuentro contemporáneo con lo que es el: Espíritu ) (Primera parte)
Un tiempo de cambios transcendentales
A: Síntomas
Tecnología, política y economía
Estos tres factores típicos del presente tiempo, han tomado el comando
total sobre todo tipo de actividad humana sobre la tierra, imponiendo un
clima de terror y consternación entre los más humildes e indefensos de la
sociedad.
Medidas y determinaciones desmesuradas en todo ámbito de cosas,
significan un enorme deterioro de las condiciones de vida de una gran
mayoría, una cesantía que sólo va en aumento, problemas de salud,
delincuencia, guerra y conflictos armados de todo tipo y mucho más.
Naturaleza
El planeta entero le está sintiendo el peso al trato brutal que el ser
humano le ha conferido durante tanto tiempo y está reaccionando con
violencia, en la forma de cambio climatológico, actividad volcánica,
inundaciones, tormentas, tornados, y una enorme cantidad de otros fenómenos
que no son tan fáciles de apreciar como estos, pero que en su totalidad
significan alteraciones considerables en todo el sistema ecológico del
planeta.
La vuelta de Israel
El retorno del pueblo de Israel a sus antiguos territorios, es una de
las señales más características de este tiempo. Ya que este pueblo se asocia
inmediatamente con lo que se denomina "religión" y por consiguiente
con Dios, tiene este hecho una gran trascendencia para el resto de los
grupos nacionales del mundo entero, que también tienen sus propias
experiencias históricas, tradiciones y doctrinas, en en cuanto a los temas
específicos que se tratan en este orden de cosas.
B : Trasfondo.

Es difícil encontrar un denominador común a estos tres puntos que hemos
resumido como síntomas específicos que caracterizan el estado actual del
mundo, a pesar de que a decir verdad, existe uno bien determinado. Los tres
están señalando el término de una era y la aproximación o advenimiento de un
tiempo nuevo que trae consigo transformaciones radicales en todo orden de
cosas. Hemos llegado, sin más ni menos, a un punto donde resulta
extremadamente difícil pronosticar lo que implican todos estos cambios o transformaciones,
si es que no se efectúa una revisión minuiciosa de toda la historia de la
humanidad, para encontrar en ella el indicio que nos pueda ayudar a prever lo
que habrá de venir el día de mañana.
Todo el siglo que ya terminó y este nuevo se caracterizan por el afán
latente de llegar a identificar, quién o quienes son los que realmente
sostienen la verdad, quién o quienes son los reponsables de tantas
necesidades en distintos planos, quién o quienes son los culpables de tanto
sufrimiento humano, quién o quienes son los que en el fondo son causantes de
tanta maldad.
Al final, hemos llegado al resultado de que nadie reconoce sus errores,
nadie cree ser responsable de alguno de los lastres que oprimen a la
humanidad y todo el mundo confía en que sus puntos de vista son los más
correctos o los más adecuados. Y ahí estamos, cara a cara y frente a frente
dispuestos a defender hasta sus últimas consecuencias, lo que cada cual considera
apropiado.
Por medio de este ensayo queremos aclarar, casi como una última
tentativa a encontrar una solución, que nadie en el fondo tiene razón y que
la responsabilidad es de todos, ya que toda la humanidad padece de la misma
dolencia o indisposición originada por dos factores muy bien determinados, la
herencia y el medio ambiente. Estos dos aspectos controlan,
ante todo, la actividad mental del ser humano.
El recurso más característico del ser humano, a saber, la capacidad
de pensar, es aquello que jamás hemos podido dominar en forma plena y en
vez de ser una ayuda para nosotros mismos, ha resultado ser una carga enorme
en el plano personal y colectivo y a lo largo de toda la historia de la
humanidad.
Si no aceptamos
este hecho, nos estamos engañando a nosotros mismos y por nuestra propia
voluntad.
No existen fronteras ni límites para la actividad pensante, esto lo
hemos verificado muy bien durante miles de años de práctica en este sentido.
No existen ni reglas, ni normas, ni algún tipo de orden establecido para
hacer uso de este recurso humano tan especial. Ningún tipo de leyes, ni
tampoco alguna clara exposición por parte de los medios científicos sobre las
sorprendentes maneras de reaccionar de la mente humana.
No existe entre nosotros persona alguna que por sus propios medios,
pueda influir en el orden que siguen nuestros pensamientos, ya que para ello
se requiere de algo más que nuestras propias experiencias personales
actuales.
Tenemos la absoluta necesidad de referirnos o relatarnos a algún "prototipo
histórico humano" con el cual podarnos compararnos y a partir de
allí, podamos evaluar nuestras actitudes y nuestra manera de pensar.
Esta responsabilidad le fue conferida en un principio a nuestros
primeros antepasados, quienes fracasaron con esta misión.
Cuándo y cómo realmente esto ocurrió, es aún
motivo de investigación por parte de muchos científicos.
Hemos contado con una innumerable cantidad de individuos, pueblos y
grupos nacionales, e incluso civilizaciones que han tomado para sí esta
función, y han influido poderosamente sobre la humanidad entera hasta este
día, por la vía hereditaria y por medio de sus hechos y legados en diferente ámbito
de cosas.
No obstante, aún no hemos identificado con exactitud a este
"prototipo" con la ayuda de nuestros pensamientos, ni tampoco hemos
observado el hecho histórico fehaciente de que este "prototipo
humano" ya estuvo presente en la historia humana, aunque hasta el
momento muy pocos se han dado cuenta de ello.
Esto es sumamente importante ya que para muchos, la búsqueda aún
continúa y todavía estamos a la espera de aquél que habrá de
"salvar" a la humanidad del caos que nos gobierna desde nuestro
propio interior personal.
Nosotros hemos reconocido en este ensayo que ese prototipo humano es
nada más ni nada menos que el "hijo del hombre", como el mismo se
hacía llamar, es decir, el hombre histórico Jesús de Nazaret.
Podríamos señalar por lo menos 100 razones distintas por las que
consideramos a este semejante nuestro, el ser humano más adecuado que todos
necesitamos para compararnos y poder sacar una conclusión apropiada acerca de
nuestra propia realidad personal. Pero nuestra mente va a encontrar sin mayor
dificultad 100 pretextos para no aceptarlos, ya que el pedestal que le hemos
erigido a la "lógica" es tan grande, que ahora es practicamente
imposible echarlo abajo o ubicar otra cosa totalmente distinta en su cima.
Por eso es que este prototipo humano pagó con su propia vida el intento
por hacer una rectificación a este gran malentendido que hemos tenido durante
toda la historia de la humanidad. Ni siquiera sus amigos más íntimos
"entendían" su enseñanza, a pesar de que al final lo aceptaron,
conmovidos ante tanta sabiduría y poder en "sus" palabras y en sus
hechos. Los llamados "discípulos" de este Jesús, tal vez no lo
entendieron a plena claridad, pero ellos "sintieron" en el interior
de sus personas, que este hombre de Nazaret "podría realmenete ser"
aquél que habría de venir para enseñarnos cómo debemos verdaderamente actuar
para poder alcanzar la estatura o posición que desde un principio está
reservada para el ser humano.
Esto sucedió hace más o menos dos mil años atrás, es un hecho
histórico real y efectivo, pues toda la contabilidad de nuestro tiempo
presente se basa en este hecho.
Hemos explicado, en concordancia con el evangelio del apóstol Juan,
porqué es éste hombre de Nazaret quién debe ser considerado nuestro
"prototipo humano", aunque tal vez sea necesario volver a analizar
los detalles que conforman la base de esta afirmación, que por lo demás no
somos los primeros en hacerla.
El hecho fundamental que ubica al Nazareno como "El
Prototipo", es que en él se cumple todo lo que el ser humano está
capacitado a hacer y a ser. Es a la vez el primero en una serie
de aspectos elementales y tal vez lo más importante de todo es que su
evangelio, mensaje o enseñanza, permanece inconmovible e irrefutable con el
paso de los años y sólo tiende a ser cada día que pasa, más actual.
En la vida y obra de este hombre hay un hecho en específico que lo
identifica y lo distingue por sobre todos los demás que vivieron antes que
él, pero que también le proporciona el poder necesario para poder ayudar a
todos los seres humanos que han existido después de él.
Este hecho es el bautizo que tuvo en el poder del Espíritu
Santo en el río Jordán y en los dias de Juan el Bautista. Fue este hecho
el que lo llevó a constatar y verificar que sin el íntimo contacto con la Vida
y su medio ejecutivo, el Espíritu, los seres humanos no tenemos
ninguna posibilidad de ordenar nuestro raciocinio para que este nos conduzca
hasta la vida eterna. Por lo cual, resulta en vano seguir con nuestros
experimentos, teoréticos y prácticos, con el afán de llegar a consolidar una
convivencia pacífica y satisfactoria entre nosotros y con la creación entera.
No fue Juan el Baustista por medio de su ritual o sus palabras quién
que le concedió el Espíritu a Jesús, sino Dios mismo quién es el Padre
de los espíritus.
Fue esta substancia o elemento, el Espíritu, aquello que el nos
vino a enseñar y a revelar como el medio preciso que cada ser humano puede
contar en su beneficio para liberarse de todas sus insuficiencias y
dificultades.
Lo que nosotros queremos hacer remarcar es que nuestra naturaleza
humana no es algo simple, sino por el contrario. Es tan complicada, que
nosotros no podemos por nuestros propios medios intentar ”entenderla” a
plenitud, ya que muchas de sus funciones son totalmente autónomas, no son
dependientes ni de nuestros deseos ni de nuestros pensamientos y sus
necesidades no corresponden a lo que nosotros queremos o no, sino a aquello
que como propia y característica naturaleza humana están en la necesidad de
suplir, en conformidad con la vida práctica.
La naturaleza humana busca su equivalente, su ”prototipo”, su auténtico
modelo original, aunque por lo general son nuestros pensamientos - o mejor
dicho, nuestra ideas - las que intentan postergar esta búsqueda con una
enorme cantidad de excusas, o desviar la atención con la ayuda de todo tipo
de fantasías.
Nuestra búsqueda es auténtica y legítima, aunque lo que realmente
nuestra naturaleza humana busca es algo que nuestra mente no tiene la menor
"idea", esta sólo se limita a suponer o deducir.
En estos términos es como debemos considerar toda nuestra historia
humana, es decir, como una constante secuencia de suposiciones que nos ha
motivado a probar o experimentarlo todo, incluyendo los más absurdos e
inverosímiles métodos.
Si se examina con un poco de atención lo que en nuestros dias está en
plena actividad, a nivel ”científico", se puede apreciar con mayor
claridad lo que nosotros intentamos explicar.
Millares de dólares están financiando diversos proyectos que tienen
como propósito el llegar a entablar contacto con otros seres vivientes e
inteligentes, que se "supone" deben existir en algún lugar
del universo. Estos intentos vienen funcionando desde hace ya casi medio
siglo, aunque al final de cuentas no se ha llegado a ninguna conclusión que
justifique esta inversión tan expansiva y suposición tan especial . Millones
de seres humanos han muerto a causa de falta de alimentación durante el mismo
período de tiempo.
¿Qué es lo que se busca verdaderamente?
Una gigantesca actividad continúa en plena marcha con el afán de
investigar las partículas más ínfimas que puedan existir, por una parte, y
los "secretos" del universo entero, por la otra, con el objetivo de
llegar a ”entender” en sus más mínimos detalles lo que nuestras teorías y
pensamientos nos sugieren. Al final de cuentas queremos de un modo racional,
llegar a constatar lo que de ningún modo es síquico, sino de una estructura o
composición mucho más desarrollada.
La incompatibilidad o contradicción es tan grande, que practicamente
hemos llegado a un cierto punto donde las consecuencias de toda esta
experimentación, las hemos empezado a sentir, como se dice comunmente, en
carne propia.
Lo que queremos decir es que, a decir verdad, no fue tan difícil llegar
a constatar la tremenda cantidad de energía existente en el interior de las
partículas más pequeñas de la materia; lo que realmente es imposible, es
poder esquivar o evitar las consecuencias catastrofales que esta explotación
de la materia ha causado y está causando a la coherencia ecológica
fundamental del planeta.
Lo que nuestros científicos no han llegado a darse cuenta todavía, es
que esta misma potencia o energía forma parte de nuestra propia realidad
humana y que es a partir de nosotros mismos de donde debemos aprender a
conocer lo real y objetivo de la vida toda.
Todo esto que estamos comentando es solamente una pequeña fracción de
todo lo absurdo e insensato a lo cual están dedicados nuestros semejantes más
"inteligentes" y que a pesar de todas las reacciones de la
naturaleza, continúan haciéndolo y con un entusiasmo que no demuestra señal
alguna del menor remordimiento de conciencia.
Repetimos y dejamos en claro que nosotros, de ningún modo estamos
señalando que la responsabilidad de lo que aquí estamos analizando es de
algún grupo determinado, ya sea político, religioso, nacional, social,
científico, y mucho menos de alguna persona o individuo en particular.
Nuestras conclusiones atañen al ser humano en general y como tipo determinado
y específico de creatura viviente. Con esto queremos decir que esta
problematica es algo que nos concierne a todos y que en ella no existe alguna
demarcación que nos divida a unos de otros. Esto significa al mismo tiempo
que este ensayo no está respaldado ni pretende ser el portavoz de algún grupo
u organización en específico y que en razón de ello, contamos con toda la
libertad posible para hacer comparaciones fehacientes de todo tipo y en todo
orden de cosas.
Por ese motivo es que ahora haremos una rápida examinación a las
opiniones de un movimiento internacional, que no cuenta con una organización
representativa, pero que a pesar de ello se le considera como una de las
corrientes modernas de mayor influencia en diferentes esferas científicas,
aunque ante todo, en la interpretación de los tiempos y en particular, el
advenimiento del nuevo siglo.
Éste movimiento es conocido internacionalmente con el nombre ”New
Age”, ”La Nueva Era”.
En el siguiente citado se resumen distintos aspectos relacionados con

Capítulo III.
Cambios en la
conciencia y en el cerebro.
El despertar
interior.
"Las experiencias de expansión y transformación de la conciencia
son algo común en nuestro tiempo. Se trata de percepciones de estados
determinados que se llaman ”transcendentales” y ”transpersonales”. Incluyen
percepciones de luz, amor, solidaridad, despertar, energia, eternidad. Para
los "hijos de Acuario" son estas, señales que están demostrando que
el ser humano ha entrado en una nueva face de su desarrollo, gracias a la
liberación de un potencial comparable al desarrollo que un idioma significa.
Estos nuevos estados no sólo son subjetivos; sino que se pueden medir por
medio de observaciones como cambios físicos en el cerebro.
El proceso de transformación individual comenzó con la puesta de
atención a la dirección que tomaba la concentración misma en algo en
específico, empezó uno mismo a estar conciente de su propia conciencia. Todo
lo que pudiera contribuir a un estado mejor y más conciente tuvo por lo tanto
una capacidad o potencial para producir y activar transformaciones".
La coordinación
de ambos hemisferios cerebrales.
"La flexibilidad del cerebro es sorprendente, consideran los
simpatizantes de este movimiento. Pero nosotros jamás podremos entender cuán
grande es este hasta que lo utilicemos en su totalidad. Ya que contamos con
la capacidad real de agudizar nuestra concentración y nuestros sentidos, casi
de igual modo como el gimnasta lo hace cuando entrena sus músculos. Y esto se
debe a que cada uno de los hemisferios cerebrales puede funcionar y se
desarrolla en forma independiente el uno del otro y de este modo pueden
establecer dos centros distintos de conciencia. En personas que padecen de
epilepsias serias, se ha cortado a veces la comunicación entre los dos
hemisferios para disminuir los ataques epilépticos de uno de los hemisferios.
Esto ha dado como resultado el que los pacientes han podido funcionar, de tal
forma que la mano izquierda de ellos, literalmente dicho, no sabe la que la
mano derecha ha hecho.
En lo que se refiere a la asimilación de conocimientos tiene el
hemisferio derecho aproximadamente el carácter que se le acostumbra dar al corazón,
es decir, tiene a su cargo los instintos, la fantasía, los sueños, y las
concepciones relacionadas a la impresión que se tiene en términos generales o
totales. El hemisferio izquierdo está más relacionado a las funciones de la
razón: control del lenguaje, operaciones matemáticas, organización. Es éste
hemisferio el que domina en las personas de la civilización occidental.
Pero existen métodos para ”retomar las relaciones” entre ambos
hemisferios, de tal modo que se puedan ayudar mutuamente. Tales métodos son,
por ejemplo, la meditación, exorcismos, la poesía y los cantos hindúes
conocidos como mantras. Estos coordinan ambos hemisferios cerebrales de tal
forma que la cantidad de células nerviosas que participan de estas
actividades se multiplican.
La sincronización de los dos hemisferios, es decir, el de las funciones
racionales y los instintos, con el del intelecto y los sentimientos, conduce
también a algo nuevo. Como lo ven los simpatizantes de este movimiento es
esta sincronización: ”el misterio central de cada religión”. Y el despertar
espiritual con su origen en la India está especialmente apto para ofrecer a
la civilización occidental una posibilidad para ”corregir y sanar el polo
opuesto".
Las personas del occidente que se sienten atraídas por las religiones
orientales no lo hacen particularmente hacia cierto tipo de libros, Buddha o
Lao-tze, sino hacia la meditación como método para sincronizar el pensamiento
intuitivo con el lógico".
